anybody got Lyme there in NY ?? I have old friend ther and I keep telling her to get checked. she is so sick.

Someone in her neighborhood got sick and had to go over to Pennsylvania for treatmetn.

my friend keeeps teling me there is no lyme in Jamestown, NY

Lyme is everywhere. I don't personally know anyone there with lyme. I was also told that when I was first sick that I couldn't possibly have lyme because lyme didn't exist in Northern Massachusetts. Well, they clearly didn't know what they were talking about and most people who say things like that don't. You can pick up lyme anywhere at anytime. I was told I also couldn't have it because I started getting sick in December and was told you couldn't get lyme in the winter. Again, not true.

She will need to do some research to try to find a lyme literate dr. in that part of NY or nearby.
