Pain chronicles

I'm reading new book The Pain Chronicles . Very interesting. There Are pain management researchers who see chronic pain as a disease like diabetes. It talks about how pain untreated causes serious damage.

I would think constant pain can not only cause serious physical damage, but serious mental damage. I believe that our thoughts can change our DNA, both positively and negatively. I too am interested in your final analysis of this book.

Have you tried either ice or heat for your neck?

Narcotics are not all that they are cracked up to be when you have LD & co's - at not in my case.

I use a lot of heat therapy, ice therapy, anti-inflamatories, naproxen, gentle stretching & so on to combat my pain - most of the time. I do have to resort to pain meds as well - but not all of the time.

dope craver? no? my handle is dc raver ....i used to be into electronic dance music as a teenager but that was over several years ago. I don't really go out much anymore.

I am seeing an LLMD. I use ice and anti-inflammatories on a day-to-day basis. The hemerhoids are actually a recent thing and they only popped up once I started the cholestyramine for neurotoxins. It backed me up and I guess it aggravated a hemerhoid. I only take painkillers max once a week. So I never take more than one or two vicoprofen a week. I don't think that is excessive when I feel like I need them every day.

I use lidocaine patches as well for my neck but they really don't help much as the pain seems to be deep within my neck.

maybe my nickname was a bad choice as it doesn't really represent who i am. I've just used it out of habit. DOPE CRAVER...lol. wow.

Oh so you think you have this since you were a kid. Me too, Craver. I grew up on Long Island and was always
sick but the pain and the feeling like I was this taught rubber band and no cover over my nerves I think started in my teens. I hated pot cause it made my nerves ache. My drug of choice when i was 16 was heroin and even though i knew better nothing made me feel the relief like that. My brain used to be going a mile a minute and I couldn't stand to be in my own skin. I was out of my mind. I know it was lyme or some other type of chemical enviornmental thing.
You have to try what ever you can to keep pain at minimum and keep your digestion scene running like a clock. you can not afford to get constipated so take what ever works for that , maybe stool softner, maybe smooth move tea?? everyone is different. What are your parents saying about your condition? are they involved? I really feel for you. This is way too much and it can be the loneliest place in the world. pain creates exhaustion and all this treatment you just keep hanging in for the big break through. what part of country are you in?

I have to look up cholestyramine? is that a supplement?

So i am trying to think of who the doc is in Virginia and how you found them?

what is your treatment protocol been so far.

did you ask about the thick blood. ?? you know now that is a 90% chance and your
treatment will be impaired if your blood is thick and also the stress of the treatments for this
long of time is just too much..people have mini strokes and think they are migraines.

Have you done any heavy metal detox or are you just doing strictly antibiotix. you are
having a hard time becaue you have been sick for too long.

Are you a computer geeky type? Isn't that your generation that is computer geniuses.?

what shape is your spine in? Do you think you could handle sweating your butt off in a hot yoga room.?

You gotta get all these toxins out.

and is the psyhillium working? I get more constipated from that stuff. you have to drink gallons of water with that?
what other health stuff you got going on. How are your adrenals? how is your lungs?

I feel like i am talking to myself. You know when I finally foind out and all my blood work came back and the doctor told me I have this most of my life and have probably been bit more than once and by some of the wicked like block Island ticks, i had this big sense of relief that someone finally figured it out. I spent my sweet 16 in a mental ward and again at 17 and the 18 in a drug rehab. and I kept pulling myself together and always felt like ai had the flu and was being storked by some thing eating me up inside.

I am right there with you. thank God you are 21 and not 41. You have got to keep detoxing the body to get the pain away. there are some real old time experts on how todo it without opiates.

Definitely get the pain chronicles book. One thing that you have to make a whole new deal on is NO more opiates. Everytime you wanna take a pain pill get in the bath with essential oils. lavander or frankensence or sandlewood or lemongrass..
i bet your liver is giving you a real hard time. put hot castor oil packs over the whole top part of your belly going over liver up under the ribs . keep a hot pack on it. castor oil will get things going.

you can even take a little sip. but put the oil on the flannel (wool if you can) and heat it up and keep over you for as long as you can. 40 min to 2hours.

is your doctor in Virginia??
can you tell us what coinfections you have? did you get tested for parasites. this is another area that is overlooked and a major thing. ticks carry parasites and antibiotics don't kill parasites. yoou have to identify theparasites and then take the antiparasitic.

who else in your family is sick. did you grow up in virginia?
