This topic has been brought up before but is ther anyone out there that had done levequan for bartonella?

Yes, I have. I only did about a months worth of treatment because my liver enzymes were elevated pretty high after starting it. It wasn't the medication, it's my liver that cannot filter out the toxins fast enough. This happens with any antibiotic that I take in high doses.

I did do Levaquin for the bart it did seem to help me some but I had to stop after like 2 months because i had issues with the side effects from it which were bad leg achiness and tendo issues. That was like 3 yrs ago now I couldt even stand the Levaquin for a week for bronchitis bacause of my stomach. So if you have stomach issues you might want to take probiotcs with it because it can cause stomach pain and issues. good luck and God bless

I have really bad stomach issues and for some reason, I had no problems taking the Levaquin. I did have really bad herxes though. I remember my arms and legs hurting really bad. It seemed to help those bad rages I was getting too.

sorry it took so long for me to repined to my own post...
so did any of you get rid of the bartonella with the levequan.

i just saw it on Butascanno March 2011 talk ..one to 3 month of levequan for bartonella
