I've been to every specialist related to my condition in my area, and even to Hopkins. None of them can diagnose me. I have also called possibly every LLMD in Maryland only to find out they weren't taking medicaid through the state, or any other insurance. I've been out of antibiotics for weeks now and my symptoms have gotten worse, even with fasting. I have nowhere else to turn. Emergency rooms can't do anything for me and no one can continue prescribe me antibiotics.

I'm 20 years old, male. I eat a very well-balanced organic and raw foods diet. No family history of anything other than type-2 diabetes or high blood pressure. I've been on antibiotics for months with only reduced symptoms because I know I have Lyme despite repeatedly negative test results.

I've taken:
-Half a bulb of raw garlic for >1 week while fasting, only to have the symptoms return but to different parts of my body
-Dr. Shen's Yin Chiao for additional immune support

Considering:
-180mg pure Allicin
-Digestive Enzymes
-PuroZyme
- >2,000IU Vitamin D3
-Teasel root
-Steam baths
-MonaVie
-Multivitamin

I know the feeling very well. I too have Lyme and went to one LLMD where all he had me on was doxy. I finally found out of another physician who is not LLMD certified, but uses the some of the protocols like Dr. Joseph Burrascano, etc. He has me on an awesome regimen with taking Zithro, Flagyl, Cleocin, Rifampin, gabapentin as well as Heparin. I was nearly at death's door before I met this physician and now I am alive. I was on Nuvigil to keep myself awake during the day just for a few hours because I was sleeping 17 to 18 hours daily, had to quit working as all I could was sleep, wheelchair bound, slurred my speech. I was in bad shape. Please don't give up whatever you do. You may go bankrupt curing this disease, but at least you will be alive. I too tried lots of supplements with no help. The only thing that has helped me truly is antibiotics and the heparin mixed with them. Another thing that helps when you are on the abx is taking a toxin remover like Interasefase plus by Klaire Labs. Good luck my friend and know that you are not alone.

Have you been clinically diagnosed with lyme? If so by whom? Have you had a western blot and if so what bands appeared? What symptoms do you suffer from? Most LLMDs do not take insurance but they are not all expensive. If you have lyme and have had it for a while, it will much longer than weeks or months, more like years, to get rid of symptoms. Also, your symptoms will get worse instead of better for a while while in treatment. It may sound strange but detoxing is crucial and will greatly help. Keep researching and read the posts on this board until you can't read anymore.

You may want to look into something similar to the Cowden Protocol or other natural treatments.

Welcome to our forum!! I am sorry that you have a need to be here, but I am sure glad you found us!! I'm sure you will find us to be a helpful,caring and understanding group!

There is a Dr in Lutherville-it's ok to post his name-he's doing research for Hopkins, but he will do 60 days abx, and takes insurance. At least it's a start

My Lyme tests so far have been negative. I still believe it's likely I have a tick bite related disease. I broke out in a rash that looked like Lyme disease soon after I started feeling ill. Can you share with us what symptoms you have that make you think you have Lyme?

Hi Im sorry you sick..it sucks I know Im 22 so I really get how hard it is. I have the name of a doc..hes in NY-upstate I did a mapquest just generally from baltimore and it says it takes about 4 hrs. I know thats a really long time but this guy is good and he will treat you if he believes your symptoms are lyme and or co infections even if you test negative. He will prob test you for other stuff just to rule anything else out but he does treat clinically. He is very well known and I think he is good. email me if you want the name,

Hey Southerner,
Most knowledgable LLMD's will treat a person for LD if they show the rash.The bulls eye rash alone is enough to confirm LD, as it is the 'skin form' of LD.
