Yes, good luck. I did my treatment, however, at one gram. I do feel much better. The fatigue has lifted. What I am having (co infection probably) is that I have trouble walking. Shooting pain in nerves and I used the cane going to Drs. today.
You are seeing a Lyme Dr? If my symptoms do not improve, I'll be searching for a Lyme dr. I have one in mind, however, it'ss about $l,000 up front for first visit. I don't have this money. This is my problem right now. I may have to go to PA.
I wish you the best. So sorry about the pain. I had a horrible experience. I also reported the incident to the hospital. There were two situations; the dr doing the procedure DID NOT wear a badge for identification! Second; the sheet they place me on had mud where someone's feet were! The hosp responded by email and apologized!
I experience so much pain that twice when I try to sit up I about passed out and was so light headed. I even double dosed my pain narcotic before leaving and it did nothing at all. The tubing was dry on two or three attempts and she just had difficulty, I was anxious thinking about it at home for a week. This is why I insisted it stay in my arm right now with no meds being taken now. We're waiting to see how I'll recover, then possibly go another 28 days if the dr. seems (and I, of course) it's necessary.
I mentioned to the dr. that I do not want this inserted again if at all possible. I'd rather have the thing in my arm and be a little inconvenient! Besides, it was over $3,000 for the procedure at hospital. Keeping it in is certainly a much better option.
After 28 days, I herxed some and as time goes by, I do feel better. I do not have the low body temp, major headaches, chills, intense achiness, and fatigue. Everything is fairly well, just the legs are not working well. But, again, it's one day at a time. This illness is funny and has a mind of its own!
I wish you all the best.
