Lyme Flags for Lyme Disease Awareness!

I am making LYME Flags for Lyme Disease Awareness Events. There is NO COST involved for those of you with lyme disease who would like to be named on a Flag. Please comment below with your FIRST name and your STATE or COUNTRY and I will make a flag for you! You can also comment at my blog site with your information (see below). My dream is these flags will travel to as many different Lyme Disease Awareness Events. The first event will be "Lace Up for Lyme Walk" on May 7, 2011 at the Milwaukee County Zoo. They are also going to be at the MAYDAY Rally in Washington D.C. toward the end of May! I am collecting names of people from all over the world! You can read more about the LYME Flags at my blog site

I hope that you will consider having your name carried on a Lyme Flag. There are so many of us with Lyme Disease that are homebound and unable to attend such events. This is a wonderful way to attend in spirit!

I hope you will be able to go to D.C. That would be such an adventure! As of now, one of my friends will be taking all the flags down with her. They are talking about sticking them in the grass all around them! There will be at least 900 flags! Unfortunately, around 500 of them are people who have died because of Lyme Disease. It is SO important for us to bring about more LYME Awareness in any way we can! I will make your flag tonight!
