1988 - New England Journal of Med - quite interesting!!

I received an email this am with the note I have included below. I followed the link and read just the 'abstract' and the first paragraph of the 'discussion' in the main article on this page. It was proven in 1988 that just because a patient tests negative for Lyme Disease, it does not mean that the patient doesn't have chronic Lyme Disease!! Remember, this was written in 1988

It's sad how long we've known about Chronic Lyme... and yet it's still not considered a real condition among most Doctors. Even with all the tests and studies proving the existence of Chronic Lyme we still look the other way.

No I don't have Fibromyalgia... No I don't have CFS... lets call this what it really is and stop beating around the bush.
