I know how frustrating this can be! I have NEVER tested positive for Lyme (3 tests so far)......but I DO HAVE LYME.

My symptoms, a very positive response to antibiotics (I am getting better) and herx reactions have proved my diagnosis of TBI's.

I believe that only an LLMD or a VERY Lyme savy regular doctor (one who truly understands Lyme Disease and its proper treatment) will be able to address your questioning.

I hope you can find the right doc. Don't give up!

I'm sorry to hear that your test was negative, but Lyme and the other tick-borne infections are notorious for false negatives, and as Springsjean said, the ELISA test is pretty much useless.

You live in Europe, right? If this is a roadblock to your getting treatment, then I would suggest that you turn to natural treatments to rid your body of these infections. Can you get in to be seen by a Naturopathic doc? of a Chinese Med practitioner? They can help. Another line you could pursue is doing an at-home treatment from a reputable LLMD like Dr. Jernigan or Cowden to name a couple.
