I am having a hard time getting back out there. What do you guys wear for protection? I sprayed myself with cutter......YIKES is that ok?

I use a naturally-based insect repellent. If I don't have that to hand, I'll use the chemical one but spray it on my clothes, not my skin. I also wear tall wellie boots to keep the ticks from climbing up my jeans. And then shower as soon as possible in getting in.

I use the chemical sprays as well, but not as much as I used to. I treat my yard with Bayers' "Bug-B-Gone" - at least I think it's marketed by Bayer - and that really cuts down on not only the ticks, but the mosquitoes, chiggers and other biting gnats & things!
