Hi luvbugg137,
Although I have Lyme, Babesiosis, and Mycoplasma since 1995, I actually have not been on long-term antibiotics for these infections. I was on antibiotics off and on so frequently during childhood that I already have leaky gut and candida pretty badly. I keep developing sensitivities to more and more foods and environmentals factors, so after a couple of weeks of treatment on an antibiotic and an anti-protozoan last fall, I'm going through a protocol for the candida and leaky gut before I continue to treat the lingering Lyme and Mycoplasma. The Parasitology Center confirmed that the babesiosis is gone. A few lingering Lyme spirochetes and the mycoplasma were detected in a live cell analysis last week. After the gut protocol, I plan on going after the Lyme and mycoplasma with the Cowden protocol. That should also adress the neurotoxicity aspect. (It should help with mold toxins, too, because the herbals cleanse deeply).
I am aware of several products that can help remove biofilm: the Boluoke you mentioned is an herbal product from Chinese Medicine, Dr. Dale (homeopath I saw at a health expo) has Biofilm Detox (an herbal), and there's also Bromelain. I don't know to what degree these would interfere with antibiotics. You'll have to check with your health practitioner. I know activated charcoal is a general detoxifier.
Best wishes!
