Levoquin

 Second week of levoquin and getting depressed.

As it is stuck in the house 7 weeks due to asthma and constant belching gerd that

makes me feel like i'm having asthma. have seen pulm and confirmed asthma.

Have liver aches and screaming a little within hours of levoquin.

Dr. says he's treating me for mycoplasma first and wants me on a month of it...I alread have oral thrush after a week and sincerelly feel like i'[m dying at times.

I've been sick over 15 years and wishing this could be easier.

I feel my LLMD isn't proactive enough and as a result

have not been put on iv meds yet as i am going to beg for soon.

I just don't think my stomach can take it.

haivng benefit with saccaromyces...

going to start diflucan tonight and afraid after the day i had...

breathing is better iwth levoquin but getting weak, digestion worse,

live in fear of asthma, very tired, wanting to scream and feel like i got liver pain...

something stuck there on and off...not severe pain...and just wierd body pains occassionally and blurry vision beginning...blood sugar drops alot too...

I'm starting to wish I wasn't human

Thanks so much. Haven't been on in a while. Off of Levaquin a few days now and had some better afternoons. LLMD is giving me a break for now. If it's true I've had this at least 15 years or 25 I stillhave a long way to go. I'm sorry to hear your stuck in the house too!

Thank God for our Moms! Go Moms! We wouldn't be standing without them right :)

Mom keeps me company and cooks for me all day, goes to the store for me and is a cheering squad and is the only one who understands when I need to pull back from meds.

Thank you for all your advice. I am getting depressed with pms and family members who just don't understand...I can't stop belching and feeling short of breath. I wish there was an easier fix. I've been suffering acutely for 2 years with varying phasees of symptms. 4 months diarrhea, 8 months constant undiagnosable uti/urination, hypoglycemia, now this is the worst asthma summer yet (2nd one)...and very significant digestive problems...think I have an ulcer. I have the anxiety too but it only gets bad with doing anything to detox or kill it. I think I have an arrythmia and have the worst pcp in the world and cant' get a cardiology referral and other family members are harassing me daily to see a regular infectious disease doctor. fools! who have no clue how this disease works and we know I will just be ignored by them as I was by the slew of other non llmds i've seen over the years a few dozen.

I'm about a decade older than you but I still feel your age! that's how long i've had "cfs" and have lost a lot of "living" time int he interrum. your friendship means alot and it would be great to have someone else young to share it with...

I am so frustrated today with everything....I literally feel that I survive by the hour sometimes. I'm so sorry your going through this too.

Hang onto this...it helps me...if we weren't meant to get better we wouldn't have finally found out what we have...right? well...it's a small something that helps me.

And yes laughter is the best medicine...Everybody loves raymond, seinfeld and that new show hot in cleveland have me forgetting and I am thankful for that.

I'm soo sorry to hear what your going through and that your not sleeping.

I just started an integrative protocol. Still on break from antibiotics...herbs are just as strong if not stronger. They seem to cause a different set of herx symptoms and activate my asthma as they kick up stuff but I havea ll the same nneuro symptoms you do.

Yes you are so right about men...don't worry that was a long time ago...

And Yes you are so right again about no one understanding until they were this sick and their entire body felt like out of control...

might try difulcan again...seem to do better digestively with it but then worse low blood sugar attacks.....it seems any detox i do does that...do you have severe hypoglycemia too?

i just recently got the numbers of some llmds so i will be calling them on monday. my symptoms began in january when i was actually studying abroad in europe- quite the scary experience that led me to come home in april. i experienced a tingling, pulsating sensation on my right temple and a slightly swollen right cheek. my arms and legs had intermittent crawling/burning sensations and pains and sometimes weird sensations (as if they are weak, when in reality there was seemingly no less strength). i experienced chest pains and back pains, and i woke up more at night (i previously used to be a person who slept through an entire night with no problem). i knew something was wrong because i just didnt feel right. i was expecting that coming home would do nothing but help my symptoms- a more comfortable environment with my family and my own doctors. however, after the long plane ride, everything seemed to be 100 times worse. i felt extreme fatigue, some hypersensitivity to touch and noise (even car rides bothered me), had symptoms of a cold, occasional nausea, brain "zaps/disconnects" that made me feel like i was having some type of seizure), head pressure, occasional muscle twitching in my legs and arms and eye, canker sores, trigger finger in my hand (sometimes clamps up while sleeping), occasional lowgrade fever, an extremely cracky and creaky neck and left shoulder, occasional trouble swallowing and chest burning that led me to the ER.... the list could go on forever! ive experienced so many symptoms and had so many tests, yet no diagnosis! i had a brain mri (that showed 2 small lesions- docs didnt seem concerned) and a cervical spine mri (that showed a vascular tumor...however docs believe its benign and dont think its causing symptoms). as for blood tests, ive had sooooo many! Lupus and RA are ruled out, and my inflammation markers were all normal! i had two negative ELISA tests (but ive heard those are unreliable). i should mention i did have a tick bite last august on my arm, but removed it and had no rash. basically, im still not feeling well- have a little more energy than i did right after getting off the plane but feel like the neuro symptoms are worsening which scares me! im not on any antibiotics, but am trying out the SSRI to see if that helps any symptoms. do you have any advice for me? :) did you experience a similar situation/symptoms?
