LLMD yesterday! Doxy last night!

After waiting 3 weeks, I finally had my LLMD appointment yesterday.

I had only my Igm band 23 come back positive on a prior Western Blot so she has ordered another as well as the 3 co-infection blood tests and a CD-57 blood test.

I had never heard about CD-57 but she said it is a very good indicator of the Lyme's level of involvement.

She said a positive on any of these or a low score on the CD-57 and she can diagnose me with Lyme.

For now, she's started me on only 200 mg Doxy per day until we meet again in 2 weeks. I am sure that dose will increase if she can give me a Lyme diagnosis. We'll retest in 2 weeks also I think.

She said Lyme is "highly suspicious" in my case. I know I was tick-bit about 20 years ago with rash.

FIND A LLMD! THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT TO DO!

More in 2 weeks!

Good news, don't lyme!

So glad that you have gotten the medical attention you need.

Start taking those probiotics and de-toxing!

How lucky you are, Not your diagnosis, getting into see a LLMD so quickly!
I live in Ohio and I have yet to find a llmd doctor. i have heard there are some
in Penn. But not feeling well makes it difficult to drive that far. I am now single
my husband passed away several months ago therefore it would make a long
trip for me. If anyone with lyme lives in Ohio and sees a Lyme doctor I would
like to here from you.

You will want to find an ILADS(International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is a great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey.

Hi! Great news! ps justs wondering, if you were bit more than 20 years ago what was going on now to lead you to the doctors? What are your current symptoms?

My current symptoms are typical for progressed MS. I was dx'ed 6 yrs ago with MS.

Cold hands and feet
Leg weakness
Fatigue
Optic Neuritis
Cog Fog
Heat Intolerance
Bladder issues

My neuro was suggesting chemo so I'd thought I'd check some things like Lyme and thyroid issues out before doing chemo.

Looka like might get lucky!
