I freaked out earlier this week because I thought I had a mini-stroke. I felt pain in what I perceived to be a vein in my right calf. Within a few seconds, I felt numbness in the upper left area of my brain, at which point my vision got funny. My eye tracking was off, and I began seeing floaters. Then I felt pins & needles on the left side of my brain.
I immediately took bromelain, elevated & stretched my leg, and called my doctor. My doctor thought it was a migraine, but I didn't understand how I could have a migraine without having a headache. This was new territory for me.
I went to the E.R. since my doc was out of town, and they were useless. Fortunately, I was able to get into the chiropractic neurologist the same day, and he independently told me it was a migraine, and that it was possible to have a migraine without a headache. A migraine is a contriction of blood flow to the brain.
I had just had a bite adjustment at the dentist's office a day prior, and my jaw joints and muscles were still adjusting to this. The chiropractic neurologist said that the jaw joints have more nerves than any other joints in the body, so this was significant. He attributes this to a combination of the bite adjustment and the herbals, and he thinks I had my first herxheimer reaction. My lymphatics are draining better since the bite adjustment. My neck, head, and upper back muscles are all settling down. too.
In any case, I have had to be careful with the electromagnetic radiation again because I don't want to set anything off. I've had a lot of inflammation related to the adrenal dysfunction and the electromagnetic radiation.
