Better test for Lyme?

Is this something new?

I heard from someone recently that there is a test that can tell how long you have been infected and more. I'm going to try and track him down to find out.
I remembr when I was tested in 2009 my doctor was able to tell that this is going on for years and that it was more than one bite but I don't know how
she knew that. I think it was from years of reading pages of blood work on each patient and actually seeing their current state of health.

I hope they did come up with a new test.

We need better testing to finally establish the seriousness and validity of the infection.
Then they have to find a real drug. The big problem we have here is they are using existing drugs and have to find a drug that is specifically for these coinfections and the lyme.

No one is researching for a new drug like they did with HIV.

I'd sure be interested in the cost of this test if anyone finds out!
