Yay for new symptoms. Although, considering I have very little control over my left eye, I probably shouldn't be surprised. Recently when I try to read things most words will blur out, only a few can be recognized, and what I can read is scattered about - makes having 5 classes that require a lot of reading and understanding said reason extremely difficult.

Short of having to ask someone to read to me (may actually come to that), anyone have suggestions for what I can do? I spent 30 min. before my 1st class Fri messing around with different ways to read: block my left eye (can't close it), try to block out the other page, block out all but the line being read (helps with the skipping around part).

For those who have vision problems, what do you do about them? Do you just wait for it to pass?

Perhaps you might try one of those magnifying sheets that you place over the pages you're reading. Maybe the words won't blur out as easily if they are big.

Apparently all of my problems are due to anxiety and stress... what a morning... but that's an interesting idea.

When I get stressed my left eye will get red and blurry as well. The only thing the doctors have found is small blood vessels in that eye so perhaps stress makes blood vessels dilate and that is why I get inflamed eye ?? Who knows.

It's odd because there's a huge difference between the high stress I've been under and the fact I was actually calm and happy when it happened...

Hahaha. Actually everyone at the school knows not to go to the infirmary (if there's a serious problem). Actually, I'm hoping it all has to do with the fact that I had a really rather low amount of K - which was a first (as far as I'm aware - there was this one time my neurologist said there were a few things out of range but nothing to be concerned about... then what's the point of having a range of values).
