do these new blood test results help confirm IGENEX testing and clinical dx? cd57?

Hi all!
I posted a few weeks ago with my IGENEX results. I tested IGENEX positive for IGm, though not CDC positive. Bands that showed up were **31 IND, **41+, 58+ and **83-93++. I was slightly unsure of whether this really meant lyme positive given the most common lyme bands to appear such as 23-25, and 39 were all negative for me. Im still having a hard time understanding why those bands would be negative while **83-93 would be ++. And Im having a hard time understanding if 83-93 is lyme specific.

However, I just got back my CD57 results, Fry Lab bartonella smear, and a SPECTRACELL panel. My CD57 level was 55. I know this is lower than normal, but doesnt the normal range begin at 60? Is this really that abnormal?? And what does a low CD57 really mean? Could it mean something other than Lyme? Also, is this value affected by being on antibiotics? When my blood was drawn I had been 250mg of biaxin twice daily for 3 weeks.

My Bartonella smear came back negative, and given that was the main co-infection my LLMD was concerned about, Im happy for that relieving news!! Sheesh, for awhile I had so many negative test results from doctor to doctor and had been hoping for a positive one to figure out what was wrong with me! Now that I've had the positive IGENEX and abnormal CD57 and deficiencies come back, i don't want to see any more positives!! lol

As for the SPECTRACELL panel, it showed that I am deficient in selenium, chromium, vitamin E and some antioxidants. Is this all typical with lyme?

Still trying to figure out what i really believe given the conflicting test results, 3 different doctors opinions, and how Ive been feeling. Gosh this is stressful! Possibly more so than my Statistical Analysis Homework that just took me 5 hours. ahhhhh college.

Yet another complexity to tick-borne infections is that we are only able to test for a few different strains of each infection. Some TBI's have many strains. Lyme has over 300 worldwide, Babesia has over 100 different species, and Bartonella has over 20 strains. It's no wonder that the current testing misses so many people who really are infected!

This is why even the CDC says about Lyme that a clinical diagnosis is what is required, with tests being helpful only in backing up the diagnosis.
