Do brain lesions caused by lyme go away with treatment?

I am getting up the nerve to schedule a one year follow-up MRI at UCSF. I have read that sometimes brain lesions caused by lyme can go away with ABX treatment. Has anyone else heard this and better yet, has anyone experienced this?
