HI Thia,
Boy I went through stuff like that!! It was incredibly frustrating for me because I wasn't in treatment at the time and I was dealing with doc that didn't believe in Chronic Lyme. Whether or not PT will help you has to be a decision you make based on whether or not you are actually feeling any relief or if it's just keeping things stirred up or making things worse. Yet another time when you need to be your own health advocate - don't continue to do something if you really don't feel it's helping.
When I was going through PT for my leg & back pain, I didn't find relief simply because of the time I had to spend away from my house! The hour trip each way for PT didn't help any either. The more exhausted I got, the worse my symptoms and the less improvement I was seeing. So I quit before my 'script
ran out - despite the cries I heard from everyone there not to! I believe that there comes a time when something that is usually helpful for the rest of the world can be detrimental for a person with TBI's.
All of the symptoms that you have mentioned are simply symptoms of TBI's as well. So you are right about
Lyme revisiting an old injury - I have noticed that it seems to really like scar tissue on me as well.
Lyme bacteria will attack
any weak point, no matter where in the body it is located.
