Omg Traveler, that was so cool to see my doctor on the video! I suppose I should have just asked him about IV but I get a little nervous when I talk to him because I don't want to seem like i'm trying to diagnose myself or something because he really is the expert. I'm still waiting to hear back from the doctor's office :/

hey trav...thats what i was gonna say....all my ocd "tendacies" i attribute to lyme.....but hey...i enjoy having that personal motivation to keep things in order and to sit back and see organization...that makes me sooooo happy and fullfilled to see things "in their place".....lololol......now there are other times that my "freakish" ways gets on my nerves and i try to go against myself...*laughin at myself right now*....but i have gotten to a point where i can go to sleep with a kitchen cabinet door ajar and i can leave the shades alone if one the little plastic pieces is facing a different direction than the rest of them...i have made progress....lol

but i do still eat in a way where none of my food touches each other and i think plate dividers are the "eight wonder of the world"...lol....ok im done telling on myself

I don't know what to do anymore. I just had several seizures today. They were so bad. Now I can't stop vomiting. My doctor still hasn't called me back.

I can't go to the ER they'll just make me wait for hours then send me off on my way. The won't believe that I have Lyme and will want to do an unreliable test of their own. I can't live like this anymore

see...are you currently being treated for lyme...or are you waiting for a diagnosis?

I'm being treated for Lyme. Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin. Almost at my third month of treatment. Seizures getting worse

have u seen the movie under our skin?.....if u have there was a girl on there with lyme who had cath in her heart and had severe neuro lyme..and into her third month of treatment...she started having seizures ....did u have seizures prior to starting treatment?.....cause i talked to someone the other day "in person" that had seizures as one of their symptoms and when she started treatment...her seizures got worse almost like a herx.....but does your llmd have an emergency number?...if u cant get your doc to call you back i would go to ER...seizures are serious...maybe they could give you something to calm down your nervous system until your llmd gets back in touch...or they may have a lyme literate doc on staff there....

Yes I watched it. I didn't start getting them till I started treatment. He doesn't have an emergency number the recording just says to call 911. I'm just talking to my best friend and she's calming me down.

I just don't want to go to the ER because they don't take Lyme seriously.

they may not take lyme seriously...but i bet they take seizures seriously......i bet they will know what to do to calm down your nervous system.....tell them who your doc is and they will call them...*well a good doc would anyways*... do you live in a big city?...there will probably be an infectious disease doc on staff there that will know what to do....they always have *specialty docs on stand by in big cities*

You do really need to have a doc that can be reached in an emergency - especially since you are having seizures. You called your doc's office during business hours? Ask to speak with a nurse right then, don't wait for the doc to call you back. You will have no choice but to go to the emergency room if this keeps up! You can't keep having seizures without being checked up on - and now with the addition of your tossing your cookies??

I'm really glad that you have someone that you can call to help you calm down, but you need to be seen by a doctor, and if your doc won't see you, then you need to get to another one that recognizes there can be emergencies that need to be dealt with!

Have you had any luck in getting an appt with that doc that you and I have been talking about? Maybe you should call them and explain that you are now having seizures and are throwing up and see if they can get you in quickly?

Please don't allow this to go unaddressed for any longer!! Although seizures can be attributed to a Bart infection (I had small seizures because of my Bart), they are a warning from our bodies that something is pretty wrong.

I got a hold of the new doctor's office. You have to do a phone consult first and the soonest they can speak to me is March with another 2 month waiting period to actually see the doctor so it looks like i'm out of luck.

I got a call from my Dr.'s office today recommending a neurologist in Northern California but i'm headed to San Diego tonight so my mom can take care of me and drive me to the ER if needed. Looks like it's going to be a rough couple of months
