Hello Everyone,
Welcome newbies (you've found a wonderful forum )....and best wishes to all my old friends here!
Sorry I've been MIA....but for the past three weeks+ I have wanted to be a non-lymie, at least in my head! But you have been in my thoughts none the less.
It's been over three weeks since I stopped taking ABX. I'm still hanging in there and feeling truly okay! Whoo hoo! I was anticipating a BIG relapse and still do, but so far so good.
I'm sure that some Lyme buggers are still swimming around or trying to re-group for their next assault. Yet I'm remaining hopeful that my immune system is working to beat them back......and keep me in some form of remission.
My ears are still ringing very slightly and not everyday....my hands ache and my palms vibrate from time to time, but this too is not constant.
My stiff neck is FINALLY 100% gone.....so is my shoulder and upper back pain. What a glorious relief!
I am tempted to go back on ABX for another round-- just to reach the swimmers that have ventured out of hiding-- and will ask my LLMD if I should give ABX one more go. I've had a nice break....and am ready to go back into battle if necessary.
I'm NOT going to enjoy any kind of herxing again (who would, LOL!! ) .....but if that's what it takes to push me farther forward than I am right now, I'll go for it.
Vitamin D, B's, C, Magnesium and others are still a must in my healing, as well as strenuous exercise 3-4 days a week. And a positive attitude!
I'll be back soon with another update.....and hope to remain a success story!
For those of you who don't know me, I had been on ABX (various combos) for a year. Plenty of ups and downs along with....
....expreme muscle pain, brain fog, loss of memory, vertigo.....all the usual suspects....and more!
Keep up the good fight......there is hope and healing to be found with perserverance!
Hope everyone had a fab Thanksgiving!
