As per title really, i'm based in Lancashire but i'm willing to travel etc.

Welcome to our forum! I have read your other thread - I'm so sorry that you have a need to be here, but it sure does sound like you need to be checked out by a LLMD (Lyme literate medical doctor).

Another place to search for a LLMD is on the site canlyme.com. On the left side of the opening page you will find a tile marked 'world-wide support finder'. Follow through with the appropriate 'clicks' and hopefully you will find a contact person that can help.

Go to the Yahoo Eurolyme Group, it is UK-based, and they will be able to recommend a UK LLMD for you.

Hi Can anyone send me the contact details for the Manchester UK doctor please, I have been looking on the internet and cant find it. Desperate as I am convinced my husband has had it for many years and NO doctor has even mentioned it. PLEASE HELP x

Hi claire! Welcome to the forum. I took out your other post because it asked the same thing as this one, and it would get confusing to have multiple threads on the same subject. I am sure one of our UK members will be able to help you.

If you haven't already, do have a look at our "New to Lyme?" thread. There are lot of resources and information, including supportive therapies that could help your husband even before he gets treatment.

Also, you will want to enable the email option in your profile so that members can send you doctors' names. We don't mention their names on the public forum for several reasons.

There was a doctor in Bolton who was treating patients, but the GMC prevented him from continuing to practice in relation to Lyme. I think that was around 2011.

Sorry, I don't know of anyone I could suggest. The situation is impossibly difficult in the UK. You could try the Lyme Disease UK Discussion Group on Facebook.
