Blood blister?

Had a sudden small blood blister show up on my wrist.  Size of a pencil eraser and filled with blood.  scared me to death as I thought it was an engorged tick.  Never had one of these before.  Anyone else?  Have had some strange new symptoms, never a dull moment.

Are you sure that you didn't slightly pinch the skin or have some kind of abrasion just before you noticed the blood blister, Springsjean?

I don't know. So strange right? Its right on my wrist bone. Only thing is a have another red mark on my forehead that won't go away either. I always tend to blame lyme but maybe not.

I get blood blisters in my mouth from allergies or from biting my cheeks all the time...it is so annoying.

They should go away in a day or two. A hot compress on the blister may help it to disappear sooner, too. Don't pop it - it will reabsorb on its own.

I have had small blood spots in both arms at and above the writst and some time around my neck. I think it has gotten worse since I started low dose aspirin. Today, I felt some itching on my arm at a blood blister had popped up. I put some ice on it and it went flat. It seems when older blood spots start to fade, I get new ones. This "blister" is the first I've seen pop up like this and itch. Is it the aspirin? is it just getting older?

Hi itasara, welcome to our community! I see this is your first post on the forum. Are you wondering if you have Lyme disease...or did you just do a search on blood spots and this thread came up?

I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for you regarding the spots.

Maybe someone else will reply with an answer.
