Approaches to lyme and bartonella

Hi all,

I have an appointment with my llmd at the end of the month where we will be reviewing abx and treatment options. I am currently on 200 mg doxy BID.

With a positive Igenex IgM wb for lyme and a clinical diagnosis of Bartonella I am trying to compile a list of Bartonella specific approaches to discuss.

So far I have

Antibiotics

Doxycycline
Azithromycin (Zithromax)
Rifampicin (Rifampin)
sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim (Bactrim)
Flouroquinilones - ciprofloxacin (cipro) and levofloxacin (levaquin)

Herbal/ alternative protocols

Buhner herbs with sida acuta, hawthorn, knotweek and HH
A - Bart (Byron white)
Bar - 1 (Beyond Balance)
HH capsules (Zhang)

Other individual herb/ alternatives

Samento
Banderol
Quina
Cumanda
Cryptoleptis
Resveratrol
Artemisia
Allicin
Boneset tea
Red root tincture
Colloidal silver
Clove bud oil

It would be great if people could add to this list and provide feedback on any of the approaches they have tried.
