Anaplasmosis

I have been dealing with the ups and downs of Lyme disease for almost a decade now and currently I am experiencing a relapse after being bitten by a tick again last June. I was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis-- does anyone have this and if so what are your symptoms? Mine are primarily fatigue and joint pain which are not really typical of Anaplasmosis but of Lyme and other co-infections. I am currently being treated for Lyme and the other co-infections... again... but I was wondering if anyone out there had this and what your course of treatment was.

My only personal experience was with my dog. She tested positive after having fatigue and joint pain. She also had another wee problem... she leaked!

The vet treated her with 60 days of doxycycline and she was better.

Hope you a similar recovery and that you don't have the same wee problem!!

Once the anaplasmosis is resolved, you will no doubt have better results with your Lyme treatment. As for your symptoms, it is a little hard to separate out your symptoms when you have a combination of co-infections. The one infection makes symptoms of the other worse, see. Even having somethings as simple as a cold can make your Lyme symptoms worse.

Anyway, hope you get some relief soon.
