My symptoms have gotten pretty bad at times - although I went un-/misdiagnosed for 14 years before getting proper treatment, and even now I'm a "complicated" case according my doctors. Testing doesn't really represent much of your level of sickness, if that's what you were getting at. While it would be wonderful if we could have reliable lyme testing to make this whole process easier, unfortunately the medical community just isn't there yet! You might want to take a look at the "new to lyme" thread as there's a lot of great information there about
lyme disease, testing, symptoms, etc., and also great - and easy - suggestions for detoxing which might alleviate your symptoms somewhat right away.
Also, you may have better results if you start a new thread looking for a doctor in ATL, that way more of our members will be able to see it to give you personal recommendations.
