Has anyone who is getting better had any unexplained relapses?

OK, here we go again. . .   My daughter has been sooooo much better, then boom--worse than ever tonite. . .  Internal tremors, headache, severe leg pain, nausea.  Out of the clear blue sky it seems!!!  I know there is a full moon coming up--maybe that could have something to do with it?  She has not been this sick in a long time. 

I am hoping it is a temporary setback, but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of setback after feeling better for months.  I am just praying that it will pass, but really seems that every one of her Lyme symptoms that had lessened or disappeared are back.  We have been treating naturally, and I guess I always worry about if we are making a mistake.  Always. . . .

Any thoughts?  I guess I would just love to hear that even when getting well, there are days when symptoms hit again.  But I don't know, I am a bit concerned about this.  It seems that they would not be as bad, or hopefully, that they will not last as long.  I think I still have my rose colored glasses on. . .

Yes I have had this happen. I am forever trying to figure out what causes certain aches and pains. Just yesterday I had excruciating wrist pain. I am convinced with me that sometimes at least it is something I am eating and/or the need to detox. Strangely enough things such as cheese and dairy will start my joints aching. Also, drinking water really seems to help. While I still feel great, I am forever careful not to backslide. I think our bodies are forever battling and once we have a disease like lyme, we have to be wary and cautious every single day.

I too had several weeks of feeling well and just this past week started experiencing some of the same symptoms I thought were long gone. I am trying to take more detox baths this week and get more rest.

This has happened to me on many occasions. It is disheartening, coming when you are making so much progress, I know.

My doc says it can be from a sudden die off of bacteria (from the cyst form or biofilms being broken open). Or it can be from something as simple as an ordinary virus that makes for an increase in symptoms as your body fight is.

It should pass soon! As the others said, keep up the detoxing.

Thank you all for your thoughts and encouragement! Mostly what I do is to have her increase her water intake and add lemon. Last night we skipped the epsom bath, just because she was already dizzy. Do you think charcoal would be helpful? We also held her supplements/herbals--not sure we should have. . .
