Hi! I never had the bullseye rash (that I am aware of), but I did test positive for Lyme several years ago. I have had symptoms of Lyme since at least 10 years old, but things went out of control several years ago when I became completely lethargic, dizzy, severe joint pain, rashes on arms, etc. I had a full blood panel done for rhumetoid arthritis, lupus, etc. Lyme came back positive. I also had "cyst" like bumps in both corneas of my eyes that were very painful and affected my vision. I had these for several years (7-8 years ago even) The more I look back, the more I realize how long I've had this. As a child I complained about
my legs bothering me and joints and was told I had "growing pains" and was ADD and some arthritis possibly. I have always had anxiety, but to date it's horrible. It's one of the biggest problems because it's a vicious cycle. The pain causes anxiety and the anxiety thus causes extra pain.
I'm honestly not 100% sure if I have gluten intolerance or not, but my LLMD says I have candida, which I agree with. My tongue is white coated.
A few months ago I started cutting out gluten, sugar, processed foods and starches, then morphed even stricter to no dairy, no fruit (a handful of organic berries a few times a week maybe)as well.
I do know sugar irritates my legs and makes me feel unwell. I know dairy does it too as well as white flours. I'm not sure about
gluten to be honest. When I gave these things up though, my head felt a bit more clear. Then I started abx and things got fuzzy again.
I'm thrilled to hear you're doing so much extra work with Lyme! It makes me even more thrilled to be working with you than I already am! :)
