Hi lymie.anon - welcome to the forum! Unfortunately there's no one clear cut answer to your question. In general, the healtheir your diet is, the better. Sugar can be a problem for a couple of reasons, one being that it may feed the bacteria, two being yeast/candida, which is sometimes tough to avoid while on antibiotics long term, as well as other reasons you may or may not want to avoid sugar. Are you also taking probiotics? Most people agree it's pretty much a staple if you're going to be on a lot of abx.
Diet is one of the things I still struggle with quite often - sometimes it helps to look at it as eating foods that support your health, rather than looking at what you're cutting out.
