Will my Iv antibiotics be a waste?

So here's my situation, my current Llmd doesn't think I have any co infections and wants to put me on Iv rocephin. A lot of other ppl on the chat rooms an groups think I have co infections and actually a group is paying me to see a really good Lyme dr but it might be a couple of months out. Should I still get the Iv antibiotics or should i hold off until I see her Incase she wants to give me Iv drugs for any co infections?
