Ringworm or lyme

Oddly enough and before any of us here came down with lyme, my son showed me a small bullseye on his face near his ear in 2007. Freaking out I took a picture and sent to my siblings and my dear brother responded that it looked like ringworm as his son was a wrestler and used to get it alot. It went away and I never thought about it again until I was diagnosed with lyme in 2009 and then my husband and son were both diagnosed in 2011. At that time, my son presented with two huge bullseyes and I wonder if perhaps he was bitten again or the stress of my husband's illness made his come out. (My dear brother became critically ill weeks later and died after being in ICU for 8 months.) All the while I was suffering symptoms and searching for an answer. Needless to say these were some of the worst days of my life.

I do worry about initial bullseye often, wondering if he in fact still has the bug or if we "got" it with six months of antibiotics. He is symptom free now but as we all know this disease can hide and reappear.
