And explained to him my history of lyme. His response was "it should have been taken care of with the regimen of antibiotics and the symptoms you're having aren't lyme related". So this basically fuels my anxiety and frustrates me even further. There's an LLMD about an hour from where I'm located and I plan to give them a call and see if I can get an appointment. Has anyone ever felt the sharp pains that come and go in areas where lymph nodes are located? One minute it may be behind my knees, the next it may be my groin, the next under my arms, the next on top of my hips. He checked me over and said he felt no swollen or enlarged lymph nodes that concerned him. I've also read that anxiety can cause problems to your lymphatic system. I'm so confused right now.

It can be so frustrating and if I had a way to change the state of the medical community when it comes to lyme, I would (I'm working on it lol). The most important thing to do is let it go and move on. Many many drs. I have been to believe lyme is treated simply by a short round of antibiotics. This because they refuse to think outside the box and go along with what is written in medical journals. Imagine if there was no advancement and every doctor just believed what was protocol??

Migratory joint pain is very common with lyme. Have you tried magnesium and/or detoxing? Please keep us posted with LLMD apt. Just be sure he/she is not infectious disease dr. as they will stick to same protocol as your primary.
