Question regarding lymph nodes...

Has anyone noticed any pain or discomfort in lymph nodes? I've noticed a migrating pain (sharp, lasting for a few seconds) and it seems to be in areas where lymph nodes are located. Behind knees, bottom of rib cage, iliac crest (top of hip bones). I started a vitamin regimen and dose of probiotics and well as teasel root. Could this possibly be a herx reaction? Just curious. Thanks.

I usually get more of a dull pain with lymph nodes, but if they're swollen they can press on surrounding nerves which would probably give you the sensation of sharp pain. In general the whole lymph system is taxed by all of the herxing, so there's a good chance anything you do to lessen the effects of a herx on your body will help.

I got those pains in my lymph nodes too! It's pretty startling when those really sharp pains hit!

I don't believe it's a herx, as my doc explained to me that they were just "getting clogged up with trying to move all of that stuff out"! LOL! Good medical explanation!! But I believe she is right. We've had a lot of people learn to do their own Lymph massages by watching videos online, or by going to a doc that is qualified to do lymph massages to help move the lymph fluid through easier.
