I'm so sorry that you even have this concern! I do hope that we can help you!
A place to start; Here is a pdf that you can down load that explains the symptoms that an infant would show if they were infected:
www.lymepa.org/Corson_2004_0424_Slides_Handouts.pdf We should
all be pooping every single day - that's one of the body's major ways to get rid of the toxins we take in every day from the air we breath to the food and drinks we take in, same for babies. Every 5 - 10 days is not good. Please either speak with your Pediatrician again about
this, or find another one.
As for the breast feeding, please consider stopping and using either formula or goat's milk until you know for sure if you have a tick-borne infection(s). Lyme Disease is documented as being able to be passed through breast milk.
MTHFR is explained in great detail on Dr. Jones' website. Lots of people with chronic Lyme have issues with this, and if you do, then you will need to pay special attention to detoxing. Please read through our 'New to Lyme? Start Here!" thread if you haven't already to find a great post about
detoxing when you have a tick-borne infection.
Hang in there,
Trav
