ivig injections

was wondering if any one is having these done immunoglobulin shots I think they are called, im injections, my doctor is highly suggesting them one every two weeks, 260 per injection and more traveling would be required for me. Are they helping anyone? thanks

I had weekly shots of gamma globulin for almost a year. I will be honest with you and say that I did not notice any difference at all. In fact, I had multiple staph infections that seemed to subside after I stopped the injections. Just my experience, we are all different. Are your levels of IgGs on the low side? After all of my injections, my low IgG did not change at all...still low. Money down the drain in my case.
