Needing help from India - looking for at home protocols

Welcome to our site! I'm so sorry that you have found yourself in such a position. I wanted to let you know right away that I had to edit your post, as one sentence was against our rules, and I assumed that you hadn't read our rules, not that you had ignored them. You will even find instructions on what to use and how to go about detoxing when you have tick-borne infections, as well as symptoms lists and links to important research papers and articles.

Most of us even in the US still have to diagnose ourselves and go after our own treatments because we live in an area where the doc's aren't educated about these infections, and we have no LLMD's. So you are not alone in your questions about the different at-home options that are available for those treating these infections.

Most of the different at home protocols are spoken of here - we have a really great search function here, located in the blue bar at the top of the "posting window", on the right hand side of the same bar where you log in and log out. To narrow your search results to only those in the Lyme forum (as we have many different forum for different diseases), just enter the word "Lyme".

It does sounds as if you could have a tick-borne infection or two by the symptoms that you have listed. As I said, we do have great symptom lists in our "New to Lyme?" thread, and I would suggest that you look over them to help you determine which infections you may be dealing with. While it does happen, Lyme disease is not usually the only infection that gets transmitted.

The pictures that you linked to don't look like a Lyme rash, but since they are mostly healed, it's hard to tell for sure - and we aren't doctors, so we couldn't diagnose you even if we wanted to! With that being said, the long mark could be an indication of Bartonella, especially since you mentioned the bone pain, and your feet hurting like they do.

The boil could have happened for many, many reasons. The only one I'm familiar with is why it happens to me - I get a boil (or boils) when I have physically pushed my body too hard for long periods of time. It's my body's way of telling that if I don't slow down now, I will end up in a lot worse shape! So I listen!!

I really don't know anything about the lauricidin that you spoke of, but I looked it up and it says that it's a "natural antibiotic". So based on that, then your body's response to it is quite normal for someone with tick-borne infections, believe it or not! When someone with tick-borne infections takes an abx (antibiotics), it increases the die off of the bacteria, causing what is known as a herx - or Jarrish Herxheimer reaction. You can look this up online and find lots of info on it.

The die off creates toxins that are released into the blood stream, creating those increased, or even new, symptoms. To avoid this, you need to start detoxing.We have a great post in the "New to Lyme?" thread that tells you what you need and how to detox when you have a tick-borne infection. It's a bit different than just a general detox of the body. It also must be done slowly and carefully to not set off a larger herx reaction, but that info is in the detoxing post as well.

Please read all that you can on these infections! Knowledge equals healing power with these infections! And never stop asking questions!! That's the only way to learn and to narrow down what will help you the most.
