Hi adanal - welcome to the forum!
According to the ILADS guidelines for treating lyme disease, 200 mg of doxy is a little bit low. It will prevent the bacteria from replicating, which is a good thing, but it may not be effective as far as killing the bacteria. Just a word of caution - infectious disease specialists tend to follow outdated diagnosis and treatment guidelines for lyme disease (IDSA guidelines) - many a lyme patient has been told by ID doctors that they are experts in lyme disease and have sent them on their way without a diagnosis or treatment when they do in fact have lyme.
