I have not been on it, but I know that a lot of people and LLMD's have found it to be very helpful. Even in cases where strong abx combos have failed.

Welcome to our little group!! As you can see we are very friendly here!

Each person is soo different, there's just no way to know how long your treatment will take as these are very complicated infections. A couple of things that you can do to help you heal better is to be sure that you are supporting your immune system and are detoxing as much as your body will allow you to.

If you haven't yet, I would highly suggest that you read through our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. It's packed full of important information, informative links, symptom lists, detoxing instructions for when you have these infections and more!

Something else you can do to help you understand more about Cowden's protocol is to use our search function. It's really pretty good and you can read all the threads that have Cowden's protocol mentioned!

Actually we have a lot of really nice, caring, helpful people here!! We try to keep this more like a family setting, with conversations going on about all things dealing with tick-borne infections. I'm so glad you joined us!!

BTW - please forgive me, I noticed that I called you Carol - not Caroline! I have a cousin that I am really close to that's named Carol, so I'm sure that has something to do with why I only saw that this morning - well that and the fact that I have what I call a Lymie brain in the morning!! There's just no telling what actually gets through to me until mid-day!! LOL!
