I am having a VERY difficult time herxing on my combo and it's the first time I've done something that I know is strong enough to make some headway. I don't want to back down. My liver is finally cooperating.
My main problem is very bad muscle pain that just started recently and was not a typical symptom for me, extreme shivering which is practically full out hypothermia, increased numbness in various limbs, severe muscle weakness and loss of strength, and very severe exhaustion.
I am normally able to get up, go to work, do what I have to do even though I feel badly. This is making it so that I am literally crying at the thought of having to leave my bed. I start uncontrollably shaking from cold even though I sleep in several shirts, fleece pants, socks, and a winter coat! I didn't even want to go get a vitamin IV and I normally look forward to that because it helps me so much. I had such a hard time getting there. It did make me feel slightly better, but only for my brain-fog/out of it feeling. And it will only last a day or so before that returns. I'm only working a slight amount and severely struggling financially so taking off is not an option. I don't get paid for off days.
I need some ideas for new remedies for any of this stuff so that I can stay on. This is historically a bad week in the pattern of starting a new med or combo so it was expected and I know it's a herx. I have tried so far: Turmeric, alka seltzer gold, green powders with chlorella, my vitamin IV (that helps the most), ginseng, dry brushing, lemon water, magnesium (I already take a ton of this daily) etc. What else can I try? This has been the most unbearable herx I've had so far in over a year of treatment.
Because of the extreme chills, I cannot tolerate epsom salt baths or any other kind of baths.
