Another rash that I have developed this week. It appears I have a slight pink butterfly rash that starts below

my nose, and up my nose slightly to my cheeks.

I received my blood work back this week and my ANA was negative as was my RA. My SED rate is always normal and all other inflammatory markers.

Is this also a Lyme symptom? From what I have researched it is. But it is also a Lupus symptom, and I have a lot of those too.

I cannot wait to meet with my LLMD this week for the first time. When I finally have clear answers, I might get more piece of mind. This is so hard!!

Not sure if we have the samething but I developed a similar kind of rash - reddening - but also including lots of fine spider veins, symmetrically on my forearms, spreading up my biceps, across my shoulders and with a butterfly across my nose and under the my eyes. I thought the same thing about lupus but my autoimmune panel was negative for that (although positive for ASMA but unrelated to lupus I think). I think its down to a combination of coinfections and the hypercoagulation caused by them. I don't know why it's symmetrical but a lot of my symptoms are!

It'll be interesting to hear what your LLMD says - keep us posted!

Lyme is known to mimic Lupus (and some believe Lyme is one cause of Lupus).
