Well, Rori did such a wonderful job welcoming you that there is only a couple of things that I would like to add!!
Welcome! I'm so glad you found us! As Rori said, it's quite possible that you have Lyme disease. It would be really good if you would read through our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread that sits at the top of our forum if you haven't already. It's full of important information, informative links, symptom lists - as Lyme rarely travels alone(!!)- and even a list of questions to ask any doc that you are seeking treatment from.
The pins and needles feeling is from nerves being affected from these infections, and will likely go away with treatment - as will all your other symptoms. The key is getting good treatment. We always suggest that our members seek out a doc that is ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) trained and to stay away from ID (Infectious Disease) docs as they won't recognize the scientific data that is available for treating these infections.
Here is the list of contacts that we use to help our members to find a LLMD near them:
For information on finding a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, you can start a new thread titled something like:"Looking for LLMD in the _______ area." Although you will need to enable your email option in your profile in order to receive any recommendations, as we don't allow doctor's names and contact info to be posted on the forum for several reasons. You can enable your email option in your profile, under 'edit profile'. Be sure to click the submit button to actually save your preference.
You can also email our long time member, Dan's Mother at:
