Recurrent Skin Infection or rash...

So now that I've been diving into some of the literature, I found something interesting in one of Buhner's books. In this book he states that "it is important to note that Lyme borreliosis generates both primary and secondary EM lesions...secondary lesions can occur months to years later..but do not have a central puncture wound and are symptoms of late stage lyme"

So in the summer of 2007 I went to the ER for the EM rash. I had tried to get into a few different Drs offices but since I was away at college, and hence would have been a new patient it would have taken weeks to get in so I went to the ER. The rash had faded by the time I got there (a few days after I had started searching for a dr), but the bite was still noticeable, it had been there for a few weeks and I lived in a highly endemic area. So I was put on something for a few weeks and never had more symptomatic lyme issues until October 2012 except maybe a few Herx rxns. My question is since 2011 I've been getting skin infections; often. With this last skin infection on my wrist is when all these other symptoms started. First my wrist hurt a lot then other parts of my body; the walls of my chest etc... does that mean that it is likely that the skin infection was really a secondary EM rash??? Or if I could tell the difference?

I'm curious b/c if it is a secondary rash than perhaps it would make sense for me to find a pathologist to extract the fluid if I get another rash to look for spirochetes....
