For starters, the full moon is well known for having an effect on the tides of the oceans -think fluids in the body as well. So one thing that can happen is an extra amount of pressure on our fluids as well. Since we are already bloated or otherwise have excess fluids, it makes sense as to why we feel this as well.
www.anapsid.org/lyme/symptoms/ has the original "Master Symptom List" for Lyme disease, and it states:
Electromagnetic (EM) sensitivity (electrical storms, full moon, affect function of electrical devices)
You can find this if you scroll down to "other" on the symptom list.
Here is an interesting site that goes over these two different issues:
www.tiredoflyme.com/full-moons-and-lyme-disease.html#.UNyO8hjs7Rc This is going soooo slow with me having computer and phone line issues!!! ACK!
It seems that there is a lot of conflicting studies, but none of them have been done on the intensity of symptoms increasing during a full moon, only if they start/stop during a full moon.
Giving up on the search for now - gotta go run a few errands, but I'll be back!
Giggle!
