I don't even dare using the usual moisturizers - I'm so picky about all cosmetic products.
I use pure unrefined sheabutter (very helpfull to calm and heal eczema, irritated skin, or damaged skin from sunburn or low temperatures), argan oil or like Traveler said coconut oil.
I also made a sort of mixture/cream/lotion myself, with coconut oil and epsom salt and some other ingredients to make it bind together (didn't work that well, but I'll get better at it next time ), I got them at the herbalist shop in my town.
I found the recipe on the internet. I could put it here, but since it's not really what I wanted exactly, it might be better to google 'epsom salt cream' cause there's several recipes, that way you can make a choice yourself.
In fact, it's nice to brew your own products
The magnesium and sulfate in the salts are absorbed into the body through the skin - that's 2 things in 1: moisturizing + taking in magnesium.
