New Protocol for Babesia WA1, Lyme and Bart:
Coartem 4 twice a day for 3 days,
Doxy 1 x 3 a day everyday
When off of Coartem, take Artemisinin, 2 x 2 a day for 11 days and then start over with Coartem.

Has anyone tried this?
Desperately seeking help!

I took Coartem. I was on it for a while about a year ago. And 2 months ago I had a babesia and bartonella flareup again. So, I really dont know what to tell you other than everone is different, and what works for one may or may not work for another. It may works for you! I hope it does!

In two weeks I will start Coartem 4 am/4 pm and was wondering if anyone else had experience with this drug? I went into the logs and couldn't find many people talking about it.

Lymearita, I had my first appointment with my LLMD last week (to be covered in another post) and she wants me to take CoArtem for Babesia for three days around the full moon in October and November. The dose is 4 tablets twice a day for 3 days. When I see her again in the beginning of December she will let me know if I am to take a dose in December as well. She gave me the choice of CoArtem or Artemesia. I went with the CoArtem because the Artemisia would need to be taken for two weeks, then off two weeks, etc. for a total of seven cycles.
