I have my online application ready to go, I'm just wondering if I should wait for the Igenex test results from my LLMD before I submit it.

Basically I have a clinical diagnosis, and have already started treatment, but my Western Blot (through my Rheumatologist) was CDC negative.

Any suggestions here? I'm getting to the point of desperation, I haven't been able to work in quite sometime.

I also listed my Dx'es from my Rheum: Fibro, Depression, etc etc.

I'm just pretty nervous about the whole thing. I was already denied in 2011, but at that time I hadn't seen a rheumatologist or my LLMD yet.

im waiting for an anwser on my appeal.. i turned in my appeal and a stack of medical records in august ... theyre saying its gonna be a year to get an answer.
they denied me in the beginning, saying i can still perform a regular job with a constant daily migraine, fibromyalgia, myofascial neck pain, and osteo arthritis...
id wait to send in the igenex with all your other paper work.
expect to get denied, thatll take 6 months maybe, then expect to appeal and for that to take up to a year...
dont be nervous, or youll be nervous for the next two years.
turn in a copy of igenex positive blot, they want medical records.

nspeedracer. I can't believe you keep getting denied, with that many conditions. You know people get approved for much less. Then to make you wait a year?? What do they expect you to do in the meantime?? *sigh*
Thanks for the advice. I'll be sending positive thoughts your way in the hopes of an approval!

I hope my Igenex shows all the infections my LLMD suspects, but I know that's probably unlikely. He suspects 5-6 infections total. Did you have a positive Igenex to turn in with your application?

I've heard their getting better about approving people with Lyme, I can only hope that's the truth!

im waiting for my igenex, sent it in tuesday.
ive been denied once, then appealed. the lady called me friday but i missed the call (i thought it was a bill collector so i didnt answer it)...
ill call her tuesday. hopefully its good and they are finally working on it

you gotta put in the dx's of fibro, arthritis ect ect plus the lyme, show as many things as you can
