chest pains

I am sure this has been a topic before. Does anyone experience sharp left sided chest pains? I had 3 very sharp pains today that stopped me in my tracks. No shortness of breath, jaw pain, arm pain etc... It was over in a few minutes. It wasn't like pressure either..like an elephant sitting on my chest. Very disturbing none the less!

 

I get them to at times, it scared me a lot the first few time, now I kind of figure it goes along with all the other crap we have to put up with Lyme. I hope you feel better.

you can look into costicondritis. Its an inflammation of the joints that connect the ribs to the sternum. It can affect some or all of them. And symptoms can be just pain, or they could include shortness of breathe, increased heart rate, palpitations. The pain can be very sharp.. When I said just pain, I wasn't taking anything away from the pain. When I was diagnosed with it, I had a bunch of symptoms with it and the hospital treated me like I was having a heart attack! They performed crazy tests before they realized what it was, before they ended up giving me high doses of anti inflammatory meds, something to open m airways so I could breathe and high doses of anti anxiety meds because it was so hard to breathe. It took a long time to go away, and it still flares up every now and again..
