Stroke like symptoms?

Back in January was taken to ER for stroke like symptoms - left side weakness (lasted for days/weeks), confusion, dropping a little on left side of face, dizziness, etc. CT was clear but after their neuro assessment of me they took me by ambulance to bigger hospital where I spent four days. I couldn't have MRI since they wouldn't sedate me (that is the only way I will do it) so with all symptoms that I had had a TIA or mini stroke. I have a large family history of TIA and strokes and they said it was possible that this was the case.

I have had an MRI since under sedation (over a month later) and it was clear but doc said it still wouldn't show mini stroke or TIA. I have had more episodes yet none quite as severe as first but still scary. My neurologist also had me wear an ambulatory EEG to rule out seizure activity and still waiting on those results.

I just wondered if anyone with Lyme disease had had anything similar? I know Lyme can mimic anything.
