Please help me find a lyme literate doctor in South Jersey

Would appreciate any recommendations you can give me for a doctor in South Jersey specializing in lyme. My family GP physician thinks I should see a rheumatologist, but I really think I should pursue lyme testing/evaluation other than the initial blood test I had through the GP (which was negative).

Hi Sharon,

You are wise!!!! I had the same instinct - two negatives. Doctors telling me I don't know what I'm talking about...well I came on here, found an LLMD and got a + test through Igenex (not CDC positive but a lot of + IgM bands, which suggest an active infection) and finally started treatment 10 days ago! If money is an issue email me - my doc is in Reading, PA but very affordable. A lot of LLMD's do not accept insurance, so be sure to do your research too!
