I don't believe it has anything to do with the antibiotics and everything to do with lyme.
I have had the exact same problem. I ended up cutting my long hair shorter so that it would not look so thin. This was before a lyme diagnosis and before any treatment. Also, I have never received antibiotic treatment. All of these factors lead me to say that it is unrelated to anitbiotics.
I believe that the hair loss is due to a hormonal imbalence. Lyme can cause that. Personally, I was diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance (before the lyme diagnosios) and treated for that imbalance. Very quickly, the hair loss became much more 'normal'.
