I agree with the responses. Arualb1313, my husband was diagnosed - by one of the top neurologists in Oregon - with ALS last summer and if I didn't do some research on this diagnosis he wouldn't be getting better. Lyme mimics many conditions and this one is one of them. He was tested by Igenex and it came out positive. Now, being that people with ALS do not get better, one would assume he is improving due to treatment for Lyme. Now, his symptoms started over two years ago so what they say wouldn't make sense. The CDC doesn't recognize Chronic Lyme so of course, as with many in the medical field, they would say that. It's sad because so many people won't be treated because of being misinformed. It's your call, but if I were you, I would keep up treatment with the LLMD or find an alternative approach and see if you improve.
